More than 200 members of the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) gathered at Novotel North Beach in Wollongong on July 24 at the CCIA’s Awards of Excellence.
Staged with an ‘Outback Country’ flavour, country music star and Channel 9 Discover Down Under presenter, Tania Kernaghan, was the highlight entertainment and MC for the evening where holiday parks, manufacturers, dealers and suppliers to the industry were recognised for business and environmental excellence.
The CCIA Awards of Excellence is a prestigious annual event for the industry which celebrates the success of caravan and camping trade businesses (manufacturers, dealers and suppliers) and holiday parks in New South Wales. 23 Awards of Excellence winners and 20 Gumnut Awards recipients were awarded at the event in Wollongong.
“For over 20 years the CCIA’s Awards of Excellence has recognised best practice in service and product offerings of the caravan and camping industry in New South Wales.
"The caravan and camping industry helps drive tourism to regional areas and provides a range of affordable holiday options to suit a variety of travellers,” Barry Baillie, CEO, CCIA said.
